St. Patrick's Day Invitational
The applications and information packages have been distributed. Copies are available on the (click on) Northeast Regional web site. The club's Treasurer, Priscilla Flynn, will be available Tuesday Night, February 2, for sign-ups. This is to meet the deadline on February 15, 2010.
The club is accepting soda cans and bottles to collect the deposit-fees when the cans and bottles are recycled. Cans and bottles may be dropped off to Jane Kiley. Jane is usually at the rink for Samantha’s lessons on Saturday and Sunday mornings, and club on Tuesday nights.
Tuesday Club Dinners
We have started serving dinners for club members on Tuesdays. As in the past, this is for the benefit of members that come directly to the rink after work and/or school. A nominal fee of $5.00 per dinner is requested. A secondary purpose of this benefit is to serve as a fundraiser to help defray the expenses of renting the rink for the club and the public Artistic Sessions on Tuesdays.
If you can help with this event, by donation of food or funds, it will go a long way to helping the club continue to provide this benefit for our club members and to help us pay our monthly rental fees. In particular we appeal to club members who can not attend the club sessions on Tuesday nights. These donations benefit the entire club beyond the Tuesday evening club sessions.
Tuesday Club Lessons Schedule
We will start the new 2009-2010 season with the following schedule of group lessons on Tuesdays. These will take place before the public session at 7:30-9:30PM.
- 5:00-5:25PM Figures
- 5:25-5:50PM Freestyle
- 5:50-6:05PM Break for Dinner
- 6:05-6:30PM 1st Bronze Dance
- 6:30-7:00PM 2nd Bronze Dance
- 7:00-7:30PM Silver/Gold Dance
Changes will occur as needs change. One example is if a precision team develops.
