Skaters enter artistic events in one or more categories - Figures, Singles, Pairs, Dance, and Precision Skating. Each year, place winners in nine regional championships advance to the annual United States Championships where more than 3,200 skaters compete for National titles grouped by age and levels of experience. The top three placements in the World Class divisions of men's and women's figures, singles, pairs, and dance represent the United States at the annual World Artistic Roller Skating Championships.
